The Freya Pattern

The Freya is a statement piece, whether you choose to create a blouse or a dress – or both! The pattern features an elasticised, tri-section puff sleeve with three length options. The bodice has a keyhole back opening with a tie.

Suggested fabrics: The Freya pattern is designed for a stiffer fabric such as a linen or compact cotton. But you can make it in whatever woven fabric you like depending on the look you’re going for! Just remember, the stiffer the fabric, the puffier the sleeve.

Fabric requirements: These requirements are for non-directional fabrics. If you decide to use a fabric with a directional print, you will require more fabric.

115 cm wide fabric: Blouse, 2.4 – 2.8 m // Dress, 2.6 – 2.9 m.

135 cm wide fabric: Blouse, 1.8 – 2.3 m // Dress, 2.5 m.

150 cm wide fabric: Blouse, 1.6 – 1.9 m // Dress, 2.2 – 2.4 m.
