The Odette is a mock-wrap style dress with a bias cut, full circle skirt, and detailed dart features on the bodice and sleeve.
The pattern can also be made as a peplum style blouse or a bias cut skirt. Two bra cup sizes (A-C and D-G) and two skirt lengths (knee and midi) are included to help you achieve the perfect fit and style for you.
Suggested fabrics: The Odette pattern can be made in a variety of fabrics. The designer suggests a beautiful linen. Gingham or striped fabrics look particularly striking, as they show the dart details by manipulating the print direction.
Fabric requirements: These requirements are for non-directional fabrics. If you decide to use a fabric with a directional print, you will require more fabric.
115 cm wide fabric: Blouse, 2.9 – 3.4 m // Knee length skirt, 2.4 – 2.6 m // Midi length skirt, 3.1 – 3.4 m // Knee length dress, 4.4 – 4.7 m // Midi length dress, 5.1 – 5.42 m.
135 cm wide fabric: Blouse, 2.4 – 3.1 m // Knee length skirt, 2.3 – 2.5 m // Midi length skirt, 3.1 – 3.3 m // Knee length dress, 3.2 – 4.65 m // Midi length dress, 4.5 – 4.9 m.
150 cm wide fabric: Blouse, 1.5 – 2.8 m // Knee length skirt, 2.2 – 2.4 m // Midi length skirt, 3.1 m // Knee length dress, 3 – 3.3 m // Midi length dress, 4.2 – 4.7 m.
Sizing: UK 6 – 24 with A-C and D-G bra cup sizes. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
